Controlling the Light of The Conference Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The LDS Conference Center has a mind-blowing number of lights that are used to support the wide range of events that it hosts. They are controlled from this room by a lighting engineer.
Lens:
18-55 EF-S IS
Technique:
Bracketed +/- 2 EV - shot a lot of shots to stitch together, but ended up using a narrower view that just showed the lighting controls and the window. Obviously the lights in the control room are much dimmer than the lights on the stage - and no single exposure could capture this dynamic range effectively. 32 Float made it quite easy to process this image - it took me only a matter of a few minutes. Basic veiling glare, brightness / contrast, shadow / highlight, and saturation adjustment were all that were needed to tame this image.
