Unified Color is the home of 'The HDR Experts'. Our mission is to redefine HDR photography and modernize the foundation of color in the 21st century digital world.

The Beyond RGB™ Color Model is our patented fully scalable color system based on actual human vision. This revolutionary digital imaging platform provides a comprehensive toolset to process HDR images from start to finish, in a 32-bit precision color space. No other imaging model in use today can deliver the same wide level of natural color, brightness and aesthetic accuracy.

Our premier product, HDR Expose, offers these unprecedented editing features to create ‘True Color HDR’ for realistic and profoundly crisp HDR images.

Executive Team

Alfred Zee. President & Chief Executive Officer

Alfred Zee founded Unified Color Technologies in 2008 and has served at its inception as President, Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors. After earning a B.A. at the University of San Francisco in 1993, he worked his way up to a managerial position at The Summa Group in San Francisco, which specialized in distribution of Integrated Circuits, Foundry services as well as ASIC designs. In 2000, looking to broaden his managerial experience and international exposure, Alfred went to Moscow, Russia, where he became the President of Unique ICs. While running this IC Design firm, he simultaneously helped to launch two other international technology companies, where he personally oversaw investments from start-up phase to full commercial production. All three of these companies flourished with significant growth in both personnel and production output. In 2008, Alfred decided to leave Russia and venture into the world of HDR photography software with the launch of Unified Color.

Sergey Bezryadin, PhD. Vice President of Research

Heading our R&D department, Sergey is the main inventor on over 20 US and international patents that define Unified Color technology, he also authored all company's science publications as well as presented his work at multiple imaging science and technology events. Prior to this endeavor, Sergey was a faculty professor at Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology, where he lectured Physics and worked as a Senior Researcher. Sergey is also a member of CIE TC8-09, an international technical committee on image archiving.

Igor Tryndin. Chief Technology Officer

Igor co-founded Unified Color in 2008 and brought with him over 15 years experience in software engineering from companies such as NVIDIA, Microsoft, and AT&T Research Labs. Before joining UCT, Igor was a senior engineer at NVIDIA for 6 years, developing NVIDIA's system software Resource Manager, which is an internal core for all NVIDIA graphics chips, sometimes referred to as the GPU's Operating System. In November, 2008, Igor won the first place award at SVOD (Silicon Valley Open Doors) investment conference, where Unified Color has been named as the most promising innovative technology company of the year. Igor has a Master's degree in Computer Science from Bauman Moscow State Technical University.

John Omvik. Director of Marketing

John is a professional photographer, technology editor, consultant and educator. In addition to his work as a photographer, John has also held senior marketing roles in the digital imaging industry since 1996 contributing to the success of a number of innovative products and technologies that have improved the user experience for both consumers and professional photographers. With almost 30 years of hands-on experience and industry background, John brings a unique perspective and passion to the product marketing activities at Unified Color.
